Nurse Practitioner

Job Overview

Pleasant Lake Medical Center seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner committed to exceptional patient care in an internal medicine and primary care setting. This role is ideal for someone with a collaborative spirit and expertise in both diagnostics and patient-centered treatment planning.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive physical exams and assess patient histories.
• Diagnose and treat a range of acute conditions and common illnesses.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust care as needed.
• Order diagnostic tests, analyze results, and make appropriate medical decisions.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and procedures tailored to patient needs.
• Work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years as a Nurse Practitioner, particularly in clinical or primary care settings.
• Strong skills in ICD-10 coding and utilization review.
• Proficiency with eClinicalWorks or similar EMR systems.
• Exposure to urgent care, emergency medicine, or procedural work is advantageous.
• Knowledge of sterile procedures and esthetic treatments.

Position Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license and national certification.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and staff.

Benefits and Compensation

• Salary: $116,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually
