Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice

Experienced Family Practice Nurse Practitioner needed for a 20-day locum tenens assignment at a Hospital in New York. Starting 08/04/2025, this position requires coverage Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. The NP will primarily manage acute cases such as cold, cough, and flu, as well as conduct routine visits, physicals, and manage chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension. This single-provider practice sees scheduled patients only, with appointment lengths varying from 15 to 45 minutes. The NP will work alongside a nurse and medical assistant, with occasional physician presence. Experience with Nexplanon insertion and X-waiver certification are beneficial but not required.
